The main inspiration were the wooden primitive houses that i made a couple of years ago and i see one of them every day and wondered what it would look like made from fabric and then another Flossy (Teacake) who makes ceramic villages - and that's it !

Full description
This assemblage can either be wall hanging by the rusty wire chimney 'smoke' or free standing.
The house measures about 28cms. and is made from layers of cotton fabrics ,backed with stabiliser and then free machine embroidered onto white felt . I have then attached the backing fabric and softly stuffed the house with poly. The girl ( about 15cms)and the car (about 10cms ) have had exactly the same treatment.
For hanging ,the girl and car can be attached to the house with lovely big heart headed pins ,for free standing you can use one pin as a door knob and the other to decorate the girl.
