Full description
A gorgeous light and airy but still warm scarf made from all natural materials using a blue merino wool blend on a ocean blue silk chiffon base. The scarf was made using a nuno felting technique which allows the wool fibres to migrate and felt through the silk. Shrinkage of the wool fibres gives a lovely "crinkled" effect to the scarf. After laying down the base fibres butterflies of various sizes have been needle felted onto the scarf using complimentary shades of blue merino wool.
This is a short, narrow scarf intended to be worn for effect rather than a wrap around scarf for warmth. The scarf measures approximately 135cm x 20cm
Suitable for day or evening wear, summer or winter, casual or formal. A truly versatile accessory which would make a lovely gift.
Hand wash only in cool water and reshape while wet.
