I was inspired by the striking appearance of Cranes and their auspicious symbolism, along with the delicate beauty of ferns. The fern was drawn after a long coastal and wooded walk in Cornwall where the covered paths grow with wild ferns. I wanted to combine their beautiful shape with the strong from of a bird that I love!
