Full description
This is an amazing NATURAL combination of Malachite and Chrysocola. Malachite is a copper ore and forms green fibrous crystals that form in bands. Chrysocola is also a natural source of copper. formed by several minerals including azurite, which accounts for the blue colouring. The two minerals are often found together, however not usually with such beautiful results as can be seen in this gemstone specimen.
This stunning gemstone has fantastic coloured markings and has been cut into a pleasing free form drop or tear drop shape. It is highly polished and flat on the back, so sits well on the neckline.
I have completed the pendant with a simple, hand finished sterling silver bail, stamped 925 for sterling silver. The bail loop should accommodate most chains or cords you already own. The pendant does not come with a chain, but one can be supplied - please get in touch with your requirements and I can give you the prices.
The pendant measures 55 x 24 mm approx including the bail.
