Full description
This pear-shaped jewellery box is ideal for holding rings and other fine jewellery pieces but would look equally good as a display piece.
The box has been made from holly wood that grow locally. The wood was allowed to dry naturally for a number of years before being turned.
After turning I have sanded the box perfectly smooth, sealed it with multiple treatments of finishing oil before using natural Carnauba wax to buff it to a beautiful sheen. The stalk of the pear is made from 800 year old yew.
This would be a perfect gift for someone special or to keep as a treat for yourself!
