Full description
This unusual bowl has some beautiful natural coloured woods that compliment each other so well; made from Elm, Sapele, Walnut, Maple and Purple Heart wood.
Each segment of the bowl has been re-sawn to size, planed and then given a quick sand before being glued into a block. This is then turned and afterwards it is sanded before being treated with multiple coats of finishing oil which are allowed to dry before finally being buffed to a sheen with carnauba wax.
There is a small defect in one of the maple segments which can be seen in the photographs but this will not affect the bowl's function.
