Full description
This lovely little heart-shaped wall hanger has been made from pieces of pottery we found on the beach. We have tumbled the pottery so it is rounded and smooth. The border is made of plain light blue pottery and the centre is a beautiful red shiny glass heart. Most of the pieces of pottery have come from plates and so they are gently curved, which adds to the three dimensional effect of the piece. Picture 3 shows this the best. The back of the hanger is top quality laser cut plywood which has a nice brown edge.
The hanger is 7.5 cm high, 7.5 cm wide and 8 mm thick. It comes on a 9 cm cotton cord. If you would prefer a longer cord please let us know the length you would like.
Our pottery wall hangers are made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of pottery is unique, so each wall hanger is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of their charm. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The wall hanger will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
