Full description

This is a straightforward crochet pattern to make a small applique owl. The pattern uses the magic loop method to begin but an alternative would be to make a circle of four chains.

Yarn used:

Double Knit for the body of the owl (4 mm hook)

4-ply for the eyes and beak.(3.5 mm hook and tapestry needle needed)

Finished size:

Two and a quarter inches wide at widest part of body.

Two and a half inches long from tip of ear to centre bottom

The pattern is written in US crochet terms but a conversion chart for UK terms is given.
