Full description
A one of a kind, wearable pincushion ring featuring tiny, hand-stitched patchwork. I've been making English paper pieced patchwork, especially in hexagons for as long as I can remember but never as small as this! The hexagons are 1cm in diameter and I have hand-pieced, appliqued and embroidered the piece with tiny stitches.
This one is in shades of green and the embroidery is worked in slate and reads 'Sewing mends the Soul' The pincushion is trimmed with cotton lace and a vintage mother of pearl button and will arrive boxed with a selection of pins similar to the ones shown. The base is a 30mm disc in antique bronze and is adjustable.
