Inspired by the new Cotton and Steel basics fabric collection i wanted to try out some improvisational patchwork which would lend itself to a modern quilted wall hanging.

Full description
This mini quilt has been pieced using a variety of cotton fabrics including some of the new Cotton and Steel fabric collection and also uses some hand printed fabrics from my collection. It has been machine quilted and bound using a variety of coloured threads and features areas of matchstick quilting to create texture on the finished piece. The backing is made from one fabric in a striking arrow design.
It can be used as a wall hanging or small table decoration.
This mini quilt measures approx 10.5 x 22 inches
