This pretty peg bag makes hanging out the washing a pleasure! Ok… perhaps that’s taking it a bit far, but if a job needs to be done, why not do it in style?!
The gorgeous liberty print fabric that adorns the washing line has been machine embroidered onto chunky organic cotton canvas. The little birds that feature on this peg bag are prints taken from my original designs and started life as fabric pictures. The original bird pictures were stitched using a selection of liberty print fabrics, and have been scanned, reduced in size and transferred onto the peg bag.
The chunky canvas and wooden hanger make this a durable household item. The bag is 30cm wide and 33cm long (40cm including the hook of the hanger).
Care instructions: I would recommend hand-washing this item, but it should withstand a 30 degree wash. Do not iron directly onto the printed birds or the Bettylou logo featured on the reverse.
