This is my take on a traditional birdhouse .However the proportions I have use will make this birdhouse stand out from the rest

Made from solid oak with Sapele wood roof tiles.No nails or screws used in the construction which would rot the wood.Finished in Dulux garden shades 'Jasmine' paint .Roof tiles are oiled.Perching peg is wenge wood
Size 45 cm high or 17 inches.
Size at base 20 cm wide by 25 cm deep.
The base is removable for cleaning purposes
Can be washed in Jasmine paint or supplied oiled oak
