I love this unusual necklace.
I have teamed gorgeous hand cut carnelian rectangular frames with sparkling faceted agate gems and sterling silver vermeil beads.
The carnelian rectangular frames are hand cut are a rich burnt orange colour with tonal differences - please see pictures. Inside each frame I have added faceted agate gemstone beads. These stones range from deep burnt orange through to the palest of yellow and every tone between, chosen at random, so the colour varies. Flanking these are sterling silver vermeil beads. Between the frames are further sterling silver vermeil beads and faceted agate gems.
I have hand knotted and strung the gemstones using traditional methods. The gemstones are linked to sterling silver vermeil chain. The necklace is finished with a lobster claw clasp and faceted agate charm. Clasp stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The necklace measures 47cm in length approx but can be worn shorter if liked.
The rectangles of carnelian measure 35 x 25mm approx and the faceted agate gems each measure 7x3mm approx.
