1 metre of British Shetland wool pre-felt.

If you wish to order more than one metre length just add how many metres you would like in the quantity box and it will come as one length.
This may be the only British wool pre-felt available. Having tried to source it for my own craft and failing, I commissioned World of Wool in Huddersfield to make a batch just for me. I can now share it with you as the minimum order of 300 metres will take me a year to work through on my own.
This wool pre-felt has more stretch to it than merino pre-felt and is much less likely to bobble/pill. It does contain plant matter from the field as the wool is not as processed as it would be if purchased in tops/roving. The wool is washed and scoured before being made into the pre-felt.
Suitable for wet felting as well as needle felting. I have a sample listing also if you wish to have a small piece first to experiment with.
