freehand embroidered zombie fabric notebook cover and A6 sketchbook.
stalker zombie is wearing a pretty print dress with pink cotton detail. her bright red eyes contrast with her deathly pale blue linen face. her eyeballs are hand embroidered.
the fabrics are layered and appliqued onto cotton calico, the text “stalker notes” and intricate details are drawn on with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
this cover is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each notebook cover is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the slipcover is made from heavy weight calico which has been pre-washed several times so it’s soft and should not shrink.
the seams are overlocked and topstitched and the cover is stiffened with vilene.
this A6 sketchbook is the perfect size for handbags and pockets, and would make a unique gift for anyone who likes to write or draw!
the calico cover is washable and re-usable, simply replace the sketchbook when it's full. the sketchbooks are manufactured in the UK. they are quality casebound hard cover books, containing 92 pages of 140gsm acid-free, all media cartridge paper. the books themselves measure approx. 15.5cm x 11cm
