This is the perfect gift for a nature lover or gardener.
I created this necklace using a real hand pressed buttercup. It is embedded in resin on top of a layer of white resin within a silver plated bezel.
The diameter of the necklace is 1 inch (2.5 cm) and it hangs from a 16 inch sterling silver chain.
The colours in this necklace are very striking and this is bound to be a necklace that many people will comment on. I love buttercups and I still love it when my boys ask if they can check if I like butter by placing it under my chin and looking for the yellow reflection on my skin - a sure sign of a butter lover. They did ask if this buttercup would still work for the butter liking test!
I think that this necklace would make a perfect gift for a gardener or nature lover.
