I was inspired to create this little crochet cardigan when I friend commended that she could not find a plain and simple crochet cardigan for her baby that she liked.
I sat down and created a new pattern trying to keep it as plain as possible. I have always loved purple and when I saw the yarn in my local yarn shop it just cried out to be made into a little baby cardigan. I had some leftover white yarn and thought how well the white complemented the purple.

A crochet baby girl cardigan in purple. This little hand crochet baby cardigan is in the V-Neck style. I have used white to complement the purple by crocheting a row of white stitches around the cuffs and the rib of the cardigan. The cardigan fastens with three white buttons.
This pretty little cardigan is a must have item for a new baby.
I have used a soft acrylic yarn so is an alternative for babies who suffer from allergic reaction to animal yarns.
The cardigan maybe machine washed up 40 degrees but I would suggest laying it flat to allow it to dry to maintain it’s shape.
