Full description
This hardback notebook/ journal has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature. Rather than use linen tape I have incorporated assorted ribbons and a measuring tape.
The book is covered with calico book cloth (not recycled), onto which I have printed an image taken from a vintage dress pattern and I have also picked out one of the lines with red linen stitches. A magnet has been securely embedded within the cover to hold the tape in place.
The book contains 110 pages: 10 signatures, or 55 folios (folded pages), of 100% recycled or scavenged papers. This book also contains 5 handmade envelopes for storing all those precious bits and bobs.
Measurements: height 15 cm, width 10.5 cm and depth 2.5 cm ( 5 7/8 " x 4 1/4" x 1")
