Full description
Ladybird Backpack
This fun large backpack has been inspired by lovely lady birds crawling over a leaf.
The front
The front of the bag is made up of 4 green corduroy panels that have been overlaid with a selection of different sized and shade of satin green ribbon and then intricately sewn together to try a create a vibrant leaf over which 4 velvet and sequinned ladybirds are crawling over, there is also a front pocket which is lined in a red and black satin fabric.
The panel has been piped in a green velvet
The sides
The sides are also a green corduroy with a satin ribbon detail and an escape Ladybird
The back and straps
The back is a black corduroy panel which the two straps are attached, I've tried to shape the two straps like ladybird wings - they are totally adjustable and the buckle unclips.
The panel has been piped in a red corduroy
Inside
this back has a contrast red zip which unzips to reveal a padded red and black spot lining with inside pocket which has also been embellished with ladybirds

I really love this bag and will probably be a one off as it took so long to make but I think the results are worth it
