Cushion cover William Morris Arts and Crafts cathedral windows patchwork
William Morris famously said, “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
Hand sewn cushion cover made in a cathedral windows patchwork design from various original Sanderson William Morris designs and matching plain cotton fabrics and is piped with a modern yellow heavy weight cotton. The cover is lined in a matching beige linen. All the seams have been double sewn and four stitched overlocked for strength. The cushion has a flap on the reverse for ease of opening and is embellished with five wooden buttons.
It measures approximately 20 inches / 50 cms. square.
The cushion's actual colours may be ever so slightly different due to my photographic skills and your monitor's colour settings.
This cushion matches my William Morris's " Blackthorn", ones which are available in green, brown, blue / brown and red color- ways and together they would make a lovely set.
Can be hand washed at 30 degrees.
