I had been making butterflies for another project and had put them all together on one piece of paper and was struck by how lovely they looked, so I decided to make a picture with them.

For butterfly lovers everywhere! Hand made from tissue papers, these colourful 3D butterflies are mounted on a background made up from a gorgeous summertime photo overlaid with Japanese silk tissue paper. The whole picture is then enclosed in a wooden box frame (19.5cm square external dimension).
Note: this picture has been photographed with glass removed to avoid reflections, frame is supplied with glass.
