Another necklace from our Hidden range.
"Blue Velvet Earth"
A necklace made to celebrate our earth and its place in the universe.
To make the necklace, I firstly created a silver star using polymer metal clay (99%) silver. I then wrapped sodalite beads using sterling silver wire to create a caged effect. The necklace was then constructed by joining the sodalite beads, representing our planet earth, to sterling silver chain. The pendant of the silver star and a Swarovski cone was then attached to this chain.
The colours of this necklace are quite stunning - the blue of the sodalite can only be described as divine.
Approx length of necklace is 19 inches and the pendant hangs down approx 1 inch
