I originally made Seven Deadly Sin dolls about 4 years ago after watching the film Seven - which scared me to death ! But people only wanted to buy Vanity and Gluttony - so this is a recent idea based on the dolls.

Seven Deadly Beans in a tin - they are all here - lust, gluttony, greed, envy, vanity , sloth, wrath in the form of beans !
The beans are made from coffee dyed linen ( envy has been ' greened ' with acrylic paint ), and then machine embroidered. I have needle sculpted their noses by hand and have used powdered pastel for their rosy cheeks.
The tin label has had the same treatment and has been felt backed and glued to the tin, then finished off with a bit of jute and a rusty bell.
The tin itself is filled about half way with poly stuffing and then topped with a piece of linen, just to make their sinful bums stay in place!
Each bean measures about 8x4 cms. and the height of the whole ensemble is about 20cms (depending on how you pack 'em in .
