Kanzashi stands for intricate hair ornament and has been used in traditional Japanese hairstyles for centuries. Usually nowadays the term Kanzashi is applied to the folded cloth flowers or to the technique used to make these beautiful flowers. As the art deserves I make all my Kanzashi flowers in silk or satin adorned with stamens, special buttons, crystals or pearls.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A Kanzashi silk petal folded flower with 15 petals in indigo, purple and violet with slices of gold insert. All finished off with a gorgeous diamante brooch centre. This is felt backed and comes with a corsage pin for buttonhole or simply a brooch. Please let me know if you would like this on a hair comb as a hair accessory.
