embroidered zombie kitten – thorn
thorn fancies himself as a bit of a badass, but at just over 12cm (5 inches) from the top of his head to the bottom of his toes, he's not really going to do a lot of damage. also, he prefers danish pastries to brains.
thorn is palest corpse blue, with one white sock and a white patch over his remaining eye.
brown cotton linen fabric is layered & appliqued onto hand dyed cotton calico, and the intricate details are drawn freehand with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
his eye ball is hand embroidered.
thorn cat was made entirely on a domestic sewing machine.
everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
he's made from heavy weight hand dyed calico, stuffed with polyester filling, and finished by hand.
