I was married in Dartmouth, South Devon, which overlooks Kingswear and a ferry runs between the 2 towns on opposite sides of the river Dart. This panel is based on my sketches of this area and is the last remaining piece for a series I made for an exhibition a couple of years ago. It has not been sold because it has been decorating my house and not in my shop! But now its time to for it to find a permanent home.

Full description

A lovely, unique stained glass panel made with the jewel rich colours of ruby red, deep blue and yellow glass. This is an abstracted view of the village of Kingswear, in South Devon and if you look closely you can see boats and houses and the steep triangular harbour wall. All the glass used is reclaimed waste glass from a local teaching studio and it is made using traditional leading techniques.

The frame is made of tulip wood and it easily hangs in a window or against a white wall. When the sun shines through the glass it throws pools of colour on the floor and walls

30 x 42 cm

Designed by Amy McCarthy in Teignmouth
