A lovely set of TWO small Glasgow notebooks - one for a grey, rainy day and the other for a blue sky, sunny day. This little duo would make a great gift (or give away one and keep the other!!) The small size of this notebook makes it ideal for popping into a bag or pocket. These journals are great for anyone who lives in Glasgow, would love to visit Glasgow or just loves the look of this gorgeous design! You can jot down ideas for rainy days and sunny days in these little notebooks - a perfect way to plan for the summer holidays!
As you can see from the photos, the journals have a wrap-around drawing on the front and back showing a tenement in the West End of Glasgow (this is what we call a block of apartments in Scotland). This particular sandstone building was built around the beginning of the 20th century.
The covers of these handmade journals are high quality heavy weight paper (220gsm) and the notebooks are hand-sewn with very strong linen thread. Inside each notebook are 24 pages of blank white 80gsm paper, giving 48 sides for notes and doodles.
The journal measures approximately 15 cm x 10.5 cm (5.75in x 4 in) so is a great size for slipping into a bag or pocket.
