This is a fused glass pendant of pink flowers. Pink confetti glass encased with a copper stem and frit grass, all on an transparent Bullseye glass base.
It measures 3.5cm X 3cm approximately. It is finished with a soft suede leather thong which measures approximately 50cm (that's 19 1/2 inches in old money!). I can make this longer or shorter if you wish.
The pendant is held in place with silver plated wire which is wrapped around the pendant and twisted to form a bail.
The pendant has been fused in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure stability within the glass and prevent cracking. Any small bubbles are part of the charm of the piece.
Fused glass is quite durable and whilst I wouldn't recommend that you throw it around (!), if you drop it, it shouldn't break, (unless perhaps it's on a tiled floor from a great height!)
The wire should not come off this piece of glass but like anything if it is forced, it will. Should this happen please let me know and I will re-wire it for you free of charge.
All jewellery is wrapped in tissue paper & enclosed in an organza gift bag. I can also wrap in a box with a fabric ribbon bow for a small charge of £1.00
