"THE DIVER". ORIGINAL AND 'ONE OFF' WOOD ART. THIS PIECE IS MADE OF SMALL RINGS OF EBONY, SYCAMORE , AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF ASH RINGS AROUND THE HEAD. ALL THE RINGS ARE INDIVIDUALLY MADE ON THE LATHE ONE AT A TIME. THIS ARE THEN GLUED TOGETHER IN THE CONTOURED FORM OF A GANNET, SANDED AND OILED, THEN FIXED TO THE OAK BACK BOARD WHICH IS 19 1/2 INCHES BY 26 1/2 INCHES WITH VERY THIN STAINLESS STEEL SUPPORTS. overseas buyers please contact me for postage quote.
