Surrounded by woods we couldn't help but be influenced by them! We harvested trees for tipi poles...we had offcuts...these became beautiful dried logs for display...we felt that there could be more....candleholders became part of our range...and the range has continued to grow.

Simplicity itself, our woodland log side tables (or stools) have been a minimum of 29 years in the making, from their very beginnings in the forest to their delightful ends - as charming accent pieces in your home! Perfect as a sofa table, bedside table, rustic style stool, hall table, lamp table...
These chunky side tables (or stools) are simply giant versions of our decorative logs. Natural, beautiful fir tree trunks that have been stripped, dried and sanded. Measuring a sturdy 40cm tall and 30cm diameter (approx) these logs are suitable for dual purposes - double their usage and put them into action as seating when you have extra guests visiting!
The finished logs come complete with tiny little feet inserted into the base, which are approximately 6mm high.
Our log side tables/stools are available here in their natural peeled and dried state, with NO varnish/paint finish applied. (Please note that we also sell these tables finished with clear satin varnish; this protects the log's surface and will prolong the condition of your table. Please see our separate listing for this item).
Splits occur in the logs during the drying process, adding character and individuality.
The last image in the listing shows the logs dry and peeled, ready for sanding and finishing - and also the feet on the base of the log.
