This range of assorted butterfly brooches are all hand crafted using recycled materials made from the very lightest weight aluminium. Created in two layers, the bottom profile of the butterfly shape uses text taken from old vintage butterfly books. Each item is uniquely different with a variety of colours and shapes.

the name secretly sweet lottie came from an old picture postcard found back in 2010 in a brik-a-brak shop in Shropshire with a message to a person called lottie describing the events of a day back in the early 1900's. I have always loved the beauty and delicate nature of butterflies and wanted to combine fascination with books and their descriptive texts and the colour and form of the butterfly.
