Full description
This brooch is great for adding a bit of fun to jumpers, coats, bags and hats.
I've used a combination of techniques including freemotion machine sewing for the main outline of the lady on a calico fabric. I've then layered a complementary coloured fabric in between and lime green felt for the backing. The layers have been hand sewn around the edge with green embroidery thread.
The lady has an orange fabric rose in her hair, pink embroidery thread cheeks and blue eyes.
The size is approx. 5cm round.
There is a catch brooch pin sewn to the back.
The brooch is presented on a coloured luggage label with string tie as shown in the final image.
