Full description
This brooch is great for adding a bit of fun to jumpers, coats, bags and hats.
I've used a combination of techniques including freemotion machine sewing for the main outline of the lady with a hairband on a calico fabric. I've then layered a complementary coloured fabric in between and blue felt for the backing. The layers have been hand sewn together around the edge withcream embroidery thread.
The lady has a turquoise silk hairband in her hair and pink embroidery thread cheeks.
The size is approx. 5cm high by 4.5cm wide.
There is a catch brooch pin sewn to the back.
The brooch is presented on a coloured luggage label with string tie as shown in the final image.
