I love to work with wool and with dyes to create new shades of colour. I love the magic of the dyepot. These crewel work yarns are the results of my experiments in working with natural plant dyes. Each set of colours is unique yet harmonious with each other. Not to be repeated. I hope that you will enjoy creating something new as much I have in making them.

Full description
A pack of 5 skeins of crewel embroidery wool dyed in selection of natural plant dyed colours. All of the yarns have been hand dyed using natural dyes. The plants used for these yarns are: Logwood, Brazilwood, Cochineal, Osage Orange, Kamala.
Hand dyed yarns take up dye at different rates, so may have some colour variation throughout the skein, creating a unique look to the yarn.
The yarn is a fine 2 ply pure wool, suitable for crewel work embroidery, tapestry, crochet or fine intarsia knitting.
Each skein is approx. 25 meters
5 skeins of rainbow colours per pack.
Colours are as shown in the photo. Please note that colours may appear differently depending on your monitor.
