Full description
This is completely unlike any of the other items I've made, but when I got my mitts on a pair of gorgeous vintage gold and dark red rose earrings I wanted to make something really eyecatching.
The multi-strand necklace features loads of red (I believe siam is the technical name) Swarovski crystals, black vintage glass beads, leaf-shaped glass beads and tiny black and gold beads, and of course, those stunning vintage earrings, all hung on jet black chain.
The strands join up at two gorgeous big black glass beads. From one hangs a chain with a Swarovski crystal, a vintage black glass bead and a vintage earring.
And for those interested, yes I have named it after the Nick Cave song. Romantic, but a bit (well...) dark, too.
The necklace measures 24 inches (60cm) around at its longest point
