Full description
This beautiful solid sterling silver bangle is made from 3mm round silver wire, with a stunning handmade silver and 24ct gold charm dangling from it.
The charm is made from sterling silver, with a 24ct gold heart accent. The gold is attached to the silver charm using the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo - this is not the same as gold plating where the gold is simply a coating on the surface. This method allows the gold foil to be absorbed into the surface of the silver, where it chemically bonds to form a strong and permanent attachment.
The silver charm has been oxidised to darken it and allow the strong gold hue to shine through in stunning contrast. The bangle is sized to fit a medium hand (approximately 65mm internal diameter) but can be made larger or smaller to order.
It comes fully hallmarked at The London Assay Office, and beautifully packaged in a Lucylou Designs presentation bangle box, so it is ready to give as a stunning gift, (or to keep for yourself as a unique treat!)
