Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.
I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.
As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

In my heraldry work I have to paint all sorts of mythical animals and decided to design and paint some to have them printed as a unique collection for people who like unusual cards.
This is my Dolphin, in heraldry they aren't smooth and smiley but instead he's spiny and a bit grumpy. That said he is quite splendid in sea-green and blue and is perfectly happy to carry your best wishes to anyone you send one to.
I love stories full of myth and fantasy and that combined with my love of heraldry is what prompted me to paint in the first instance.
The cards are printed onto 400g silk board, FSC approved from sustained (managed) forests and all are BLANK inside.
