This is not a transfer or picture but a 3d flower made INSIDE a piece of solid glass!
Ideal for summer, this 3D flower pendant is made of solid glass! Inside a disc just a touch under 30mm in diameter I have formed a flower of white and cobalt blue striped petals, with a canary yellow centre and stamens. The disc is domed, and is just under 15mm at the thickest central part. On the top I have formed a glass loop to hang it. I’ve left the back uncoloured to give it a lighter feel, there is a dot of yellow where the final centre was formed which has been melted smooth so it won’t catch and I’ve flattened the back so it will hang neatly.
I’ve added a 17inch silicone rubber cord with 925 silver lobster clasp and findings. The semi-clear rubber has a very soft, almost silk like feel, and matches the transparent look to this pendant. If you would like a different length or black leather instead please let me know and I’d be happy to change it before despatch.
The pendant has been entirely had formed by me by flameworking borosilicate glass directly in a superhot propane/oxygen flame. It has then been annealed in a microprocessor controlled kiln to improve toughness.
