Full description
A large & vibrant purple glass cabochon with a topping of blue/purple dichroic sizzle glass, is set on a pretty 'double band' of sterling silver . The blue dichroic glass really catches the light - this is a statement piece, not to go un-noticed!
In this photograph you can see the band showing from behind the transparent purple glass as there is light shining through. However, once on your finger this is far less apparent and is barely noticable.
The band is easily adjustable as it has a gap at the back, so will fit most fingers - perfect for gifts as there is no need to worry about ring sizes!
The cabochon measures aprox 17mm x 20mm. It is hand cut, layered and kiln-fused by me at my studio in Chatham, Kent.
Dichroic glass, developed by NASA, has special light transmitting and reflecting properties, hense it is very hard to capture in it's full beauty with flash photography, and is always more stunning 'in the flesh' - I hope my picture does it justice!
I aim to dispatch purchases via standard 1st class mail in the UK within 48 hours of receiving cleared funds, Monday - Saturday. If your purchase is urgent, please make sure to let me know, and I will do my best to get it out asap.
This item will be sent in an organza bag and black card pillow box (see pictures). However if you would prefer the velvet-lined ring box for a special occasion, at an extra cost of £1-20, please email me before completing checkout.
