Full description
A handmade knitting bag for socks or other small items. In fabric "Pirates" by Michael Miller - at first glance, looking like skull and crossbones, but look more carefully and the "bones" are knitting needles! I have made 2 of these bags, but cannot bear to part with one of them, and use it every day, and it never fails to make me smile. The bag has a circular base, and is slightly gathered at the bottom, so that it sits without falling over. The base is a contrasting colour, and the bag is fully lined in a black and white fabric. The "skull and crossbones" are a very pale green, on a dark brown, almost black, background. Dimensions (all approximate) - 43cm circumference at base, 54cm at top, 19.5cm inside from bottom to closure. Closed with a drawstring cord in green, finished with plastic beads. Please note, the contents of the bag are for illustration only, and are not included. I do not recommend you wash this item, but sponge clean only.
