Full description
This corsage was inspired by big tissue paper flowers my mum used to make in the 1970s!
I make my own merino wool felt using a wet felting technique. Half of the petals are made using my own felt and the other petals are plain wool felt to give the corsage contrast.
This corsage is black, purple and pink merino wool felt with a contrasting pink wool felt. I have used a purple vintage style button to give the corsage a retro feel.
It measures 11cm across.
I have concealed the brooch pin in a blanket stitched panel.
It will brighten up the plainest t-shirt or coat.
The corsage will be packed in tissue paper and a gift box.
