This handmade fairy door measures 7cm high and 5.5cm wide.

It has been made using polymer clay and dusted with mica powders for a fairyland sheen, the door is sealed with a clear gloss clay varnish.

I don't use a mould for my fairy doors and I blend my own colours so each one that I make is unique.

The door is fixed and doesn't open ... only the fairies, elves and pixies can do that!

It is stamped as "Handmade by Joanne Dennis" on the back.

Supplied in a gift box with a small bottle of fairy dust, a scroll and a shiny pebble.

The scroll reads:
When you place this little door in your home
You invite the faerie folk to play and roam
Bringing blessings, love and a little magic too
Uniquely crafted especially for you

I just love faeries, these doors are fabulous to make and I never know exactly how each new design will turn out until it's finished. I used the horseshoe on this one to invite a little luck and loved the end result.

I will use this design again and can make it with any colour flowers.
