Full description
A fabulous, colourful, handmade handbag in a bright floral, vintage barkcloth cotton fabric. The fabric is probably from the 1940/50's.
The bag is unique in that I found only enough of this fabric in a bric-a-brac shop to make one. (Plus a smaller, different model for myself as I loved the fabric so much!)
The handbag measures 26cm h. x 36cm w. (at top) and 9cm x 27cm at the base. It features 34cm faux leather handles in navy blue to co-ordinate with the patterned fabric. A strong magnetic catch fastens the bag.
Inside, the lining is an apple green linen (new) with a large zipped pocket and a smaller pocket for a mobile.
The base has silver coloured metal studs at each corner to protect the bag from grubby surfaces.
The bag is stiffened so that it stands upright when put on a surface, making it easier to use and find things inside.
