A similar design to this has been with me for years; it is based on the necklace I designed for my own wedding. Wanting to wear chainmaille but make a piece of statement jewellery that looked sophisticated and elegant, I experimented with different weaves before I struck gold with the Byzantine weave. Delicate and dainty with a strong and bold look, just like all of the items in the Entwined range.
Each piece of chainmaille that I produce is unique, and if this style sparks your imagination and would like a custom piece created please let me know. I adore working with others to create stunning pieces of chainmail using a range of materials and techniques.

Full description
The Entwined Neck Vine is a great example of how chainmaille can give a structured but refined piece of jewellery. Delicate chains of Byzantine chainmaille weave give support to a cluster of individual units created from the same weave. Each of the six chainmaille units is home to a deep amethyst coloured aurora borealis Czech glass bead which shimmers in an array of colours.
The overall chainmaille necklace length of the Entwined Neck Vine is 18 inches but this can be changed to meet your own needs. Each of the six bead units measures approximately 1.25 inches by 1 inch. The centre drop of the necklace is an additional 2.5 inches.
