Full description
Brown and cream ceramic candle holder. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
The base features a distinctive fluted stem and at the top sits a cup where a candle can be placed. This piece has a chunky rustic feel to it and would look great as a centerpiece on a dining table or mantelpiece.
Rutile is known as a 'reactive' glaze where new colours appear during the firing process. In this case creamy whites, browns and blue streak across the holder.
If you would like me to provide a candle to go with the holder just let me know and I'd be happy to add it to the listing.
Unfortunately this piece does have some damage to the bottom where it has stuck to the kiln shelf during firing.
