Inspired by childhood days, spent searching through big maps of places - for holiday, exploring the countryside - and a fascination with the tiny symbols and what they mean or refer too.

These unique luxury cushions are personalised and totally one-off's and make a great talking point and statement in your home.
You choose places of special memories, where you (or children) were born, where you graduated, got engaged, got married - had a fabulous holiday and so on.
I then hand embroider motifs to represent the occasions (as on a map) and an arrow points to the place in question. I also am able to hand embroider messages, both on the front and back of the cushion as you wish.
I works in tweeds, linens, cottons and create different looks each time one is made
Each one will look fabulous and balanced in structure, colours and textures.
An addition of a compass completes the look, with herringbone stitches, or coral stitches and such to embellish in silky shiny threads.
Please contact me with your requirements and give clear guidelines of up to four or five places and motifs, towns/villages/mountains - you would like (as often the same name appears in the UK)
Other countries (and counties) can be made too, I have a fabulous one from where my house is in Baza, Andalucia, Spain…. Happy memories of Spain in my English living room.
