Nikki has been creating beautiful jewellery using traditional, as well as more modern Silversmith techniques for over ten years now, first opening the gates to 'Magic in the grass' in 2009.
Working from our studio based in the Yorkshire Dales, Nikki takes inspiration from the world around. We believe that beauty is everywhere if you open your eyes and your heart!

A deliciously battered bangle with real character!
The diameter of the round Sterling Silver wire I use on this bangle is 2.5mm, so although it looks totally wonky it has real strength to it. A great sturdy piece that can be worn everyday and will never get (any more) bent out of shape!
I give the bangle a massive battering with various hammers and other tools to give it the organic, and almost vine-like appearance. It's then painted by hand with an oxidising solution, which is brushed back to show the dents and notches.
Up there with my absolute favourite pieces.
