A delicate light and lacy jewel colour knitted scarf.
This is my modern interpretation of a traditional Shetland lace scarf knitted in an original pattern called candlelight which can be traced back to the nineteeth century. I have brought it up to date using a modern laceweight yarn, eighty percent merino wool, which smoothly changed from deep purple, to bright turquiose to sea green.
I have knitted a simple glass bead to the end of each of the lacy points to add sparkle to this 4 oz scarf.
It will drape wonderfully around your neck and give warmth withour bulk and feel deliciously soft against your skin.

Length 65 inches 165 cm
Hand knitted with great care, in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
