Collages, along with my brooches that use the same techniques, are my favourite things to create. I hope to do more of these as my skills increase.

Full description
This collage started life as a cotton napkin, which I've decorated with an image of two birds printed onto rough linen. These formed the inspiration for the piece. The decoration is made using embroidery and a mixture of lace, tatting, buttons, trim, crochet, beads, crystals, shells and a felt flower.
The collage measures 24cm x 24cm (approx) and is backed with fabric from a cushion cover. There are two brass rings so that the collage can be hung up.
