I am a bit of a fan of the humble footstool and am always keeping a look-out for them. They are often neglected in second-hand stores or markets and I am passionate about restoring them and adding a bit of a contemporary twist. I've had this fabric for a while and knew it would work really well once I found the right piece of furniture to partner it up with. And hey presto, I think I've created a beautiful and quirky addition to any home. I hope you think so too.

Full description
This is a beautiful footstool that will work as a statement piece in any room in your home. It has been hand painted in Autentico's Bleu Gris chalk paint, distressed, waxed three times in clear and dark waxes and finally matt varnished for durability. It also means it can be wiped clean without any fear of ruining the paintwork. This footstool has been covered in a strikingly bold patterned fabric of circles and stripes in pink, purple and white. It is trimmed with nickel-coloured tacks. This really is a stunning piece of furniture and will add a punch of colour to any living space.
